- Hot Hits Orchestra was originally formed in the
summer of 2008 after Bob was originally called upon in 2007 to put a group together to back a Vegas tribute artist coming to the midwest to do some shows. Since then the group has been evolving as a fresh and unique variety dance group featuring 3 violinists and performing some of the great classic dance hits with that authentic string sound.
- Hot Hits Music Group, LLC also is the home
for Hot Hits Orchestra Tribute to Roy Orbison, and Hot Hits Orchestra Presents Gloria Jean's Tribute to Loretta Lynn and Patsy Cline.
- Bob also performs with Straighten up and Fly
Right, a Nat King Cole tribute, Colleen Raye's Girl Singers of the Hit Parade, and Colleen Raye's Girl Singers Christmas show, Steve Clarke's Working Stiffs jump blues band, and a variety of other local musicians on a regular basis.
- Bob was very instrumental in the early 90's in
the development of Music Tech, now the McNally Smith College of Music, as head of the bass program, head of the ensemble program, head of the music business program, and assistant to the program director.
- Bob teaches bass and cello at Groth Music in
Bloomington and is the lesson coordinator there.
